We prepare sterile products for injection intravenously, intra-muscularly, or subcutaneously.
Sterile products are prepared onsite in our new state-of-the-art certified ISO 6 and USP-compliant clean-room facility. As of August 2011, Reed’s Compounding Pharmacy is the only compounding pharmacy in Tucson with this type of facility onsite.

Reed’s Compounding Pharmacy conducts in-house and sends products out for independent testing. Yield, weight, and volume checks are performed regularly to verify potency of finished compounds; pH & sterility testing on every batch of injections; physical inspection of all compounded products.
Our compounding environment is climate controlled with separate storage for sterile products. In addition, each batch prepared individually with safeguards and controls to prevent cross-contamination and every step of the compounding process is documented for accuracy and our records.
Each day, we monitor and document lab temperature. We conduct weekly lab tests of air and surface samples in the clean-room.
Patient counseling, storage and application instructions are provided for every prescription.
